History: From birth he was tutored by a cruel and relentless mentor. He was an athlete and attended two major summer competitions. He never won. Being a Marshal kept his interest for a while, but then he became depressed and bored. So he turned to a secret life of crime, taking increasingly more risks and challenges.

History: She was born to a pair of big game hunters, but was frequently ill as a child. She was part of a huge silver rush, which was taken over by a mining company. The company confiscated a lot of silver, but the shipment was lost. She has dedicated herself to building a better kind of golem.

Motivation: She possesses a valuable artifact that the thieves guild wishes to steal; and a rival would like her out of the picture

Personality: Friendly and accommodating she would invite many more into her home than her spouse would be comfortable with if they did not express concern about it. She invites people to come help in her community garden.

History: She was raised happily, as a normal child born to her father and mother. Her father taught her the rudiments of the Marshal arts, while her mother instructed her in etiquette, music and courtly manner. Her father was a soldier and died while she was still young. Baelitae was left her father's suit of armor and trained in its use and care. She has drifted apart from her friends and has been working freelance. Each gave each other a copy of their signature sword.

Personality: He is quite rude, and likes to deride his opponents skill and shout insults at them. Kriv is a bit of a follower. Usually he is manipulated by his sisters into helping them out, but recently he has become more of a free agent.

History: He was raised by priests from a young age. Being born in the east, he completed his medical training abroad so as to avoid the war. He returned after the war having achieved medical proficiency. He was a general practitioner in the east for years, until he, through no fault of his own, lost a patient who had a very powerful family. Rather than risk reprisal he made his way north. He was betrayed by a partner and left for dead, teaching him a humbling lesson in trusting others.

Motivation: Find a way to reverse the transformation of his sister; and his spouse's relatives view him with great suspicion
