The gnolls captured her, and made her a slave and general play-thing. She was beaten and tortured regularly, leading to her deformed appearance. She left for the north, certain she would find work there.

Personality: Overbrimming with self-confidence, Qualen isn't afraid of most anything. He has a strong dislike to people who do not believe in Gnomish unity. He constantly seizes attention wherever he goes and has come to expect this respect from everyone. He likes to think of himself as merciful, but nonetheless is very strict.

History: Qualen was born with his father's beautiful face. A freak accident while working with his Carter father left him crippled. After a long history of fighting, Qualen and his spouse have recently divorced.
