Personality: He is unhospitable to his core. His small house has "No trespassing" Signs all over it. He passes on several rewards to people in need. He makes a point to leave places better than he found them.

History: He was born a particularly ugly child, much to the horror of his parents. He moved from fad to fad and when he turned 15 he discovered singing. He was betrayed by a partner and left for dead, teaching him a humbling lesson in trusting others.

Motivation: Obtaining odd cultural Human artifacts is his passion; and he wants to meet his childhood hero

Personality: She hates dire rats. She views them as having robbed her home of its proper glory. She is frequently practicing swordplay.

History: Born to a poor family in the city she treasured whatever gifts she got. Cursed with vampirism at a very young age, Pyra has worked very hard to control her curse. She has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to dire rats demanding more tribute than usual.
