History: Born in the east to a Knight, Shax learned a great deal about her father's area of expertise. When she came of age, she joined a caravan that would eventually take her to the capital. She would practice along the way and, when she arrived, be apprenticed to a Knight. She has achieved small success as a Knight.

Motivation: To be a Barber again; and balancing her hectic life and new knight responsibilities is difficult

History: He is a Maurezhi in disguise. A gypsy cursed him at a young age, leading to his ugly appearance. He now travels the world, in search of power and loot.

Motivation: Someone believes him a fraud.

History: Born in the north her family was never financially stable. She graduated from the Naval Academy and went to see the world at the rank of Ensign. She advanced relatively quickly due to her good work ethic, understanding of the chain of command, and natural leadership ability. She has gone from town to town till she finds a spot where she can set up a sustainable business.

Motivation: She is unsatisfied with her job; and to fight the greatest warriors and to fight in the greatest battles ever
