Personality: Shivering wants to be seen as a stoic, levelheaded, noble Ranger, so she tries to act the part. She does a good job, for the most part... She pushes her goals aggressively. She is also a coward if confronted.

History: She was born in the west, but her parents moved at a very young age to the north. A gifted student she started as a Unemployed, but she got bored and became a Masseuse. She inherited the family business which she has now maintained for 2 years.

Motivation: She is terrified, and will act out of fear.

History: A child with a great deal of music talent his parents made sure he got the chance to thrive. While he appears to be a normal Halfling, he's... not quite right. Perhaps he's slightly insane, or otherwise so mentally alien to the rest of the world that he plain doesn't fit in. He is untrained/undisciplined, which makes him dangerous.

Motivation: He is not mentally stable, and does not behave rationally; and his religion dominates his actions

Description: The woman speaks with an almost imperceptible accent. She seems to always be the slightest bit damp as if she got out from a pool a few moments ago. She wears tight fighting clothing, which leaves very little to the imagination. Her fur is black and curly. Her yellow eyes show the wear and tear of someone lonely with a great burden to carry.

Personality: She is envious of other's things. She hoards treasure, art, food, wine, and anything that she so desires. She also is a firm believer in the womanly ideal.

History: Her parents moved while she was still in utero so she is the first generation to be born here. Her family was being driven out of business by several neighboring competitors. The father sought out extralegal help and others began closing their doors. She saw this and took pride in her father's willingness to do anything to win. Recently a tribe of giants attacked the village and all able bodies who could hold a blade were quickly armed and sent to the walls. Tricking fought at the side of some of the regions greatest heroes but was never overshadowed.

Description: A middle-aged man, he wears dull grey sweaters, loose violet pants, and alligator leather shoes. Beneath his sweater he keeps a concealed flail, just in case, and is pretty ugly. He is bald on top and has large silver tufts of hair around his ears. He wears crescent spectacles with a black brim.

Personality: He is not truly malevolent, but he is obsessed with dancing. He constantly tries to fill his life with dancing. He misses his home and complains about the freezing weather, even in summer.

History: He was born a particularly ugly child, much to the horror of his parents. At some point he was captured by dire rats and was tortured. After several years of this he finally managed to escape. He has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to dire rats demanding more tribute than usual.

Motivation: A deep hatred of dire rats; and many dire rats want him driven away
