He was regularly beaten by his mother, who blamed him for driving them apart. He was betrayed by a partner and left for dead, teaching him a humbling lesson in trusting others.

His mother had invested heavily in several trade routes and wanted him to inherit them. Recently a tribe of illithids attacked the village and all able bodies who could hold a blade were quickly armed and sent to the walls. Astar fought at the side of some of the regions greatest heroes but was never overshadowed.

Personality: Prone to second guessing herself, she comes off as nervous. Despite her manner, she is extremely passionate and proud of her job, and she prides herself in being thorough and never missing a detail.

History: She was born in the east. She worked as a nervous Performer and found it very stressful. She has set out to sabotage the competition.

Motivation: Balancing her hectic life and new Performer responsibilities is difficult; and she'd like to take her coworkers down a peg
