History: The child of a Masseuse, who enjoyed hunting, Jacoba was taken on many hunting expeditions. In her 18th year, her parents were killed by a goblins raid, leaving Jacoba alone in the world. After a stint in an orphanage, she was adopted. She has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to goblins demanding more tribute than usual.

History: She grew up in a lower middle class home, but living comfortably wasn't enough. In her 15th year, her parents were killed by a dire rats raid, leaving Tawar alone in the world. After a stint in an orphanage, she was adopted. Due to her spouse's obsession with being a Glassblower they were divorced and she won custody of their daughter. She worked as a Weaver, and she later adopted a second daughter.

Motivation: Her name or reputation has been wronged in the past by dire rats, and she desires to right it; and many dire rats want her driven away

Description: A hulking man with gigantic muscles, he wears a shirt that is too small, which lets his gut show, with a ratty black coat over it. His black hair is still thick. His amber eyes are slightly larger than normal.

Personality: Quiet and reserved he prefers to listen than to talk. He will nod occasionally and communicate nonverbally. He is stubborn though. He always likes to keep a trick up his sleeve. He likes to fight dirty and will kick and punch below the belt if he feels he even has a chance of losing.

History: He was born with several neurological imbalances, which makes sleep difficult for him. It may also be what makes him so good at details. A gypsy cursed him at a young age, leading to his ugly appearance. He remains aloof and afraid to be himself due to all the ideals others have placed upon him.

Motivation: He possesses a valuable artifact that the thieves guild wishes to steal; and he will attempt to ambush and attack anyone he thinks he can take on alone and try to knock them out with non-lethal damage. if successful, he will try to sell them to his slave-trader contact
