History: Raised by wardens he was only a novice when goblins swooped upon their monastery and killed most of the order. In his 11th year, his parents were killed by a goblins raid, leaving Dean alone in the world. After a stint in an orphanage, he was adopted. Days after completing his studies, news broke out that his hometown was attacked by goblins. Dean was horrified and prayed that his mother was alright. However, he heard that his mother had died fighting off the goblins.

History: Gale was born in the east. At a young age he loved to build and create. He always admired divine-users and wanted to develop the talent, but never had the affinity for it. One night he noticed a nearby shooting star which he hiked out to see where it landed. It turned out to be an ancient artifact of some kind. He has done his darndest to repair it but it is currently non-functional.

Her shirts and pants tend to be short and undersized for her due to the difficulty of finding a good tailor. Her hair is cut close to her head. Her eyes are gold and she is always smoking a pipe.

Personality: She hates dire rats. She views them as having robbed her home of its proper glory. Her actions favor neither the good nor the evil, as she answers to a power that mortal women fail to acknowledge.

History: She was born to loving parents in a slum to the south. At a young age her father died while driving off some dire rats. Her mother being the stubborn sort decided to stay and helped train her in bastard sword use. She has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to dire rats demanding more tribute than usual.

Motivation: She wants revenge against dire rats; and to fight the greatest warriors and to fight in the greatest battles ever

Personality: She is calm most of the time but flees social interaction. She enjoys reading and quiet.

History: Gifted from a young age, Hillanot studied abroad. Her necromantic abilities were realized during a raid on her village. She knows her nephew is from a royal line that had remained secret for centuries, but promised not to tell anyone. So far, no-one knows but her.

Personality: Aggressive, abrasive, and angry, Pelt embodies much of what other species detest in the Tabaxis. He moves from fascination to fascination almost instantaneously. If something can keep his interest for a month it is impressive.

History: He was born a particularly ugly child, much to the horror of his parents. He was an athlete and attended two major summer competitions. He never won. After a long history of fighting, Pelt and his spouse have recently divorced.

Motivation: Wants to work out more often.
