History: He was born with several neurological imbalances, which makes sleep difficult for him. It may also be what makes him so good at details. Through the years after Torz was born, his mother became increasingly distant from his family, instead choosing to pursue power in the west. Torz's mother didn't care for him much, and the feeling was mutual. He was granted martial powers by his dying sister.

Personality: A deeply religious man he believes everything happens for a reason. His brief stint in the army gave him the idea he was invincible and that he is the toughest man alive.

History: He was born at the edge of vast island. He graduated from the Naval Academy and went to see the world at the rank of Ensign. He advanced relatively quickly due to his good work ethic, understanding of the chain of command, and natural leadership ability. Recently a tribe of dire rats attacked the village and all able bodies who could hold a blade were quickly armed and sent to the walls.
