History: Merla was born to in a poor docking district. She spent her early days working in the same smith shop her father was employed at, doing general labor. She took every job she could get her hands on, but the opportunities for Halflings in the east were limited. She hasn't been sleeping well lately.

History: Born in the north to a Carter, Volen learned a great deal about her father's area of expertise. Her father disappeared, and while she tried to raise money to find her father, she was betrayed dozens of times. She struck the Carter job and began her own company from there.

Motivation: Find a way to reverse the transformation of her sister; and to fight the greatest warriors and to fight in the greatest battles ever
