History: Born in the north her family was never financially stable. She was an athlete and attended two major summer competitions. She never won. She hasn't been sleeping well lately.

Personality: He is happy with his job as a Bookbinder. He turns his eye from what people do, preferring to live and let live. He is a bit of a xeno-phobe, disliking non-Gnomes.

History: He was a bastard born out of an affair, and his father always resented and mistreated him for it out of spite. Through the years after Rimple was born, his father became increasingly distant from his family, instead choosing to pursue power in the west. Rimple's father didn't care for him much, and the feeling was mutual. He has drifted from career to career and currently works as a Bookbinder.

Helgret decided she wanted neither the life of her father nor that of the evil petty criminals she associated with. During her early adolescence, she took a sudden opportunity while working the docks and commandeered a vessel that was left unmanned. Recently she has begun working with bootleggers and crooks.
