History: He was a bastard born out of an affair, and his mother always resented and mistreated him for it out of spite. His parents divorced when he was young, and his mother gained full cudstody. He was regularly beaten by his mother, who blamed him for driving them apart. He is searching for what he claims is his rightful reward.

History: Born to a poor family in the city she treasured whatever gifts she got. Through the years after Ovak was born, her father became increasingly distant from her family, instead choosing to pursue power in the north. Ovak's father didn't care for her much, and the feeling was mutual. She got away from her former life and has fallen to alcoholism.
