Personality: He likes to brag about his accomplishments and constantly tries to beat others to the punch. He is stubborn though. He always likes to keep a trick up his sleeve. He likes to fight dirty and will kick and punch below the belt if he feels he even has a chance of losing.

History: Sold as a small child to a wizard, Ekemon was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. He eventually earned his freedom when his former master disappeared. His parents died when he was young, and he was unceremoniously dumped in the city orphanage. Ekemon grew up in the orphanage, tormented by the older kids and famished from lack of food. To avoid death by starvation, most orphans take to a life of crime or prostitution (often both), and so did Ekemon. He used his abilities to trick people and travel the world for free.

Personality: Friendly and accommodating he would invite many more into his home than his spouse would be comfortable with if they did not express concern about it. He is fiercely devoted to his father, and views his father's ex-spouse as an evil person for separating him from his legal half-sister.

History: He was born several months after his father was called into army service. His first spouse was a Baker, they had one daughter, but his spouse won total custody. Without his spouse to temper him he grew out of control. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

Motivation: Wants to raise his children well; and to reunite with his absent father

Personality: Always inclined to offer people food he seems plenty friendly. He is terrible with names forgetting people's names several times before they finally stick; this causes him no end of embarrassment.

History: He is the product a well kept family trust fund and as such has never really known need. While studying, he fell in love. They married and had a son. Some 6 years later his spouse died after the birth of his son. Heartbroken, Borun never married again. Instead he focused his life to raising his son whom he trained as his father had trained him before.

Motivation: He is greedy.

History: Born the oldest of a large religious eastern family, he was no stranger to responsibility. He was an adventurer many years ago and he formed a blood bond with his Gnomish companion (his 'brother'). He has dedicated himself to building a better trade route.

Motivation: A need for knowledge about a nearby landmark.
