He was regularly beaten by his father, who blamed him for driving them apart. He was betrayed by a partner and left for dead, teaching him a humbling lesson in trusting others.

History: Born to a Glassblower, her father struggled to pay the bills. She was an adventurer many years ago and she formed a blood bond with her Halfling companion (her 'brother'). She left for the west, certain she would find work there.

Description: This late middle aged woman wears tan leather gloves, a tan jacket, and tight pants and is in decent physical shape. She has a long golden ponytail with little hanging trinkets. Her eyes are blue and beady.

Personality: Rinn is a sociable creature first and foremost. She loves to listen to people at length before talking their ear off. She can carry on conversation for hours and will do so. As she has aged she has sought to do reparations for her actions as a youth. She is also making sure that her compatriots who never received punishment for their crimes are brought to justice.

History: She was born blind and as such lacked many opportunities for work. Her parents died when she was young, and she was unceremoniously dumped in the city orphanage. Rinn grew up in the orphanage, tormented by the older kids and famished from lack of food. To avoid death by starvation, most orphans take to a life of crime or prostitution (often both), and so did Rinn. As of late she has set up a hidden staging nest where she ambushes people she hires for escort.

Motivation: She possesses a valuable artifact that the thieves guild wishes to steal; and she feels that her past leaves her morally obligated to help

History: Sammal was raised in a hard working conservative environment. His parents enrolled him in a Warlock school at a young age so that he could practice his martial talents. He has worked as a Mortician like his mother before him.

History: She was born on a small isolated farm. When she came of age, she joined a caravan that would eventually take her to the capital. She would practice along the way and, when she arrived, be apprenticed to a Layabout. She became a Layabout soon after.

Motivation: Wants to open a new tavern; and a deep hatred of drow
