However, he heard that his father had died fighting off the dire rats.

Description: This light-skinned female is wearing a perfectly clean shirt and pair of pants. She is tall, broad shouldered and powerfully built. Her hair is long and auburn with streaks of blonde, and is pulled back with small grey clips. She has a dull look in her gray eyes.

Personality: She has a massive crush on the younger sibling of the Locksmith who has hired her part-time. She has no love for corruption and racketeering and views those as crimes of the highest magnitude.

History: She was born several months after her father was called into army service. When Whurdred reached her early adolescence her Dwarf father passed away. Feeling disconnected from the small nearby village afterwards, she decided to travel. Her rounds led her into the Army with a few individuals who would become her life-long companions. She became a plane-shifter, and is stopping over on this plane for a brief visit.

Personality: While she acts the brute, she is far gentler than she would appear. Flattery will make her almost putty in your hands.

History: She is a Jackalwere in disguise. A gypsy cursed her at a young age, leading to her ugly appearance. She spent several years traveling with her friend, before both settled down to enjoy the fruits of their adventures.

Motivation: A need for knowledge about a nearby landmark.

Personality: She seems absolutely devoid of it. She stares off into space and will respond with overly literal and minimalist answers to questions. She claims to be unscrupulous but at the end of the day she will do what she thinks is right.

History: She was born blind and as such lacked many opportunities for work. While she appears to be a normal Halfling, she's... not quite right. Perhaps she's slightly insane, or otherwise so mentally alien to the rest of the world that she plain doesn't fit in. Unlike her family, who was content to work in a sleepy main town, she wanted to work in the city. She has been working here for the past few years.

Motivation: To find somewhere to settle down; and she is not mentally stable, and does not behave rationally
