Personality: While he acts the brute, he is far gentler than he would appear. He is a font of random trivia from the lore and stories he has discovered

History: A studious child he never was much for a social life, not because he was unlikable, but because he did not seek it out. His spouse left him for another, whom he beat to an almost bloody pulp. He did not win them back, but he came to a realization. To get what you want from life, you must take it. He routinely visits covens of witches but complains that many are fraudulent and lack true knowledge of magic.

History: She is the product a well kept family trust fund and as such has never really known need. After coming to the age of reason, Lilith took it upon herself to study the druidic arts in their entirety; because of this, she was labeled a dark omen and banished from her homeland. She has set out to sabotage the competition.

Motivation: To share knowledge with the world; and she is unsatisfied with her job

Personality: He is erratic and paranoid. He believes gnolls are coming to abduct people. He is a ruthless business man, a trait he acquired from his father.

History: His history is one of pain. He was disowned by both parents and raised among the slaves his parents kept. Before the accident, he was one of the most outspoken anti-Halfling activists. He was mortally wounded, saved by a kind and fast-acting Halfling doctor. He has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to gnolls demanding more tribute than usual.

History: The child of a Slave Trader, who enjoyed hunting, Nija was taken on many hunting expeditions. Her family was being driven out of business by several neighboring competitors. The father sought out extralegal help and others began closing their doors. She saw this and took pride in her father's willingness to do anything to win. She's also a talented Slave Trader, but doesn't like to broadcast it.

Motivation: She possesses a valuable artifact that the thieves guild wishes to steal.
