History: Raised by wardens he was only a novice when giants swooped upon their monastery and killed most of the order. In his 17th year, his parents were killed by a giants raid, leaving Clerebold alone in the world. After a stint in an orphanage, he was adopted. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

Motivation: Several ex partners dislike his way of doing things and want revenge.

History: He was born to a criminal king-pin and mafia family Howard was a troubled youth. He spent his days as a hard laborer instead of attending school, and spent his evenings with numerous mobsters and gang members. Howard decided he wanted neither the life of his father nor that of the evil petty criminals he associated with. During his early adolescence, he took a sudden opportunity while working the docks and commandeered a vessel that was left unmanned. As of late he has set up a hidden staging nest where he ambushes people he hires for escort.

Motivation: He is being blackmailed/forced/etc and this influences his actions; and he feels that his past leaves him morally obligated to help

History: Her parents moved while she was still in utero so she is the first generation to be born here. Her father was supposedly a charlatan fortune teller, but she insists her father was legitimate. After a long history of fighting, Dariff and her spouse have recently divorced.

History: She was raised in a white middle class family as the only child. She moved out east to avoid the crime she committed. Due to her spouse's obsession with being a Priest they were divorced and she won custody of their son. She worked as a Bookbinder, and she later adopted a second son.

Motivation: Marry her brother to traveling adventurers.
