History: She was a bastard born out of an affair, and her father always resented and mistreated her for it out of spite. She took after her father in leading caravans. Because they were valued, her father taught her to defend herself. When her father died while fighting goblins, the young Artin began to lead the lost caravan. She was betrayed by a partner and left for dead, teaching her a humbling lesson in trusting others.

She took every job she could get her hands on, but the opportunities for Dwarves in the west were limited. She knows her nephew is from a royal line that had remained secret for centuries, but promised not to tell anyone. So far, no-one knows but her.

History: The child of a Herbalist, who enjoyed hunting, Snagog was taken on many hunting expeditions. His family was being driven out of business by several neighboring competitors. The mother sought out extralegal help and others began closing their doors. He saw this and took pride in his mother's willingness to do anything to win. He bought a ceremonial dagger and has really upped his game hunting, due to his understanding of decoy and ambush.
