Personality: He snorts whenever he laughs or is feeling confident. The war was a terrible time for him, and Alex does not often speak of it. When he does, he does so with a strained expression and tears in his eyes.

History: He was a bastard born out of an affair, and his mother always resented and mistreated him for it out of spite. His parents divorced when he was young, and his mother gained full cudstody. He was regularly beaten by his mother, who blamed him for driving them apart. Days after completing his studies, news broke out that his hometown was attacked by illithids. Alex was horrified and prayed that his father was alright. However, he heard that his father had died fighting off the illithids.

History: She got into the Ploughman business at a young age. Her childhood dream was to be a Barkeep, but she was a colossal failure. She has drifted apart from her friends and has been working freelance. Each gave each other a copy of their signature pickaxe.

History: He was born a particularly ugly child, much to the horror of his parents. His family was being driven out of business by several neighboring competitors. The mother sought out extralegal help and others began closing their doors. He saw this and took pride in his mother's willingness to do anything to win. He has became unsatisfied with his lot in life, and decided to take up adventuring.
