History: Sold as a small child to a necromancer, Emen was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. She eventually earned her freedom when her former master disappeared. Emen was born on a far northern desert where she grew up under the tutelage of her father, an expert Doctor. She got away from her former life and has fallen to alcoholism.

His father taught him the rudiments of the Miller arts, while his mother instructed him in etiquette, music and courtly manner. A serious injury left his father unemployed and in need of constant care. His family became saddled with debt trying to care for his infirm father. He became a plane-shifter, and is stopping over on this plane for a brief visit.

As she has aged she has sought to do reparations for her actions as a youth. She is also making sure that her compatriots who never received punishment for their crimes are brought to justice.

History: She served in the navy to pay for her family's outstanding loans. When Bryseis reached her early adolescence her Tiefling mother passed away. Feeling disconnected from the small nearby village afterwards, she decided to travel. Her rounds led her into the Army with a few individuals who would become her life-long companions. She has made many enemies by not giving into corruption and outing many instances of it.
