History: Her parents moved while she was still in utero so she is the first generation to be born here. She moved from fad to fad and when she turned 15 she discovered writing. She left for the east, certain she would find work there.

History: Sold as a small child to a wizard, Shivering was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. He eventually earned his freedom when his former master disappeared. When he came of age, he joined a caravan that would eventually take him to the capital. He would practice along the way and, when he arrived, be apprenticed to a Ploughman. He ran away from his former home and has been making his living as a Ploughman for the past few years.

History: She was born to a pair of big game hunters, but was frequently ill as a child. She always admired arcane-users and wanted to develop the talent, but never had the affinity for it. Since then, she has sought to make the best of life.
