History: Sold as a small child to a wizard, Kody was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. He eventually earned his freedom when his former master disappeared. His father had invested heavily in several trade routes and wanted him to inherit them. He has built up a small fortune and can afford his own way.

History: She got into the Courier business at a young age. She sought a place where she would be rewarded solely on the merits of her skills. This search led her directly into Courier work with an outfit from a few towns over. Courier work suited her well, and with each successful project, she earned more gold and more respect from her peers. She eventually got the idea of being the protector of her homeland from reading books, and has made it her duty.

History: Lance lived on a farm with his father, near the main road leading to a nearby town. While he appears to be a normal Half-Elf, he's... not quite right. Perhaps he's slightly insane, or otherwise so mentally alien to the rest of the world that he plain doesn't fit in. Due to his spouse's obsession with being a Laborer they were divorced and he won custody of their daughter. He worked as a Navigator, and he later adopted a second daughter.
