History: Born to a Barber, her father struggled to pay the bills. Through the years after Sumnes was born, her father became increasingly distant from her family, instead choosing to pursue power in the south. Sumnes's father didn't care for her much, and the feeling was mutual. She was betrayed by a partner and left for dead, teaching her a humbling lesson in trusting others.

History: She grew up in a lower middle class home, but living comfortably wasn't enough. In her youth she was part of a gang. She got caught, but did not rat out her comrades and served her time in prison. Unlike her family, who was content to work in a sleepy main town, she wanted to work in the city. She has been working here for the past few years.

Motivation: She is being blackmailed/forced/etc and this influences her actions; and she is not mentally stable, and does not behave rationally
