Personality: Aggressive, abrasive, and angry, Peren embodies much of what other species detest in the Elves. He is frequently practicing swordplay.

History: He served in the navy to pay for his family's outstanding loans. He inherited a moderately successful company from his father. Under his leadership it has flourished, and using capital from his venture he effectively owns an entire region. He has built up a small fortune and can afford his own way.

Personality: This woman loves writing and to teach people writing more than just about anything. She is cautious and jumpy. She reacts to every sound and lacks any concept of subtlety.

History: Her parents moved while she was still in utero so she is the first generation to be born here. She moved from fad to fad and when she turned 15 she discovered writing. Lacking all sense, she decided to go on an adventure. She picked a direction and started trekking.

History: She was born to a criminal king-pin and mafia family She struck it rich when she found rare goods in large quantities. She now mingles about in high society.
