Description: He is an exceptionally muscular looking northern young adult. He is well dressed, but even with his fine clothing he looks run-down. Beneath his clothing is a huge mess of scar tissue. His hair is blonde and curly. His violet eyes are slightly larger than normal.

Personality: Varis is a sociable creature first and foremost. He loves to listen to people at length before talking their ear off. He can carry on conversation for hours and will do so. The war was a terrible time for him, and Varis does not often speak of it. When he does, he does so with a strained expression and tears in his eyes.

History: He was born blind and as such lacked many opportunities for work. His mother was a soldier and died while he was still young. Varis was left his mother's suit of armor and trained in its use and care. He is untrained/undisciplined, which makes him dangerous.

Motivation: He wants nothing more than to rejoin the army; and he is currently in port desperately looking for someone to get him out

Personality: She has a massive crush on the younger sibling of the Bellfounder who has hired her part-time. She does not regard money as being a problem because it has never been a problem for her. She lives in a bit of an ivory tower believing all problems are one quick intervention away from being solved.

History: The child of a Shepherd, who enjoyed hunting, Aura was taken on many hunting expeditions. There was a wharf not far from home where she often wandered off to fish. She now spends her time doing works of charity.

Motivation: She has a crush on the local Shepherd; and she's in love

Description: This man is bedraggled and starved. He wears a fine chain shirt which he covers with tan colored cloaks and clothing. With bright black hair and a scraggly beard. He has a very pronounced jaw and large eyebrows. He wears rectangular glasses with silver brims.

Personality: He loves justice and goodness and right action. Anyone who does not fulfill this criteria perfectly will no doubt get a lecture from him. He is the most sanctimonious self-righteous Gnome in existence. He is however greedy and will demand payment and proof of collateral's value and will produce a merchant's scale to make sure he is not cheated out of a speck.

History: He was a bastard born out of an affair, and his mother always resented and mistreated him for it out of spite. A gypsy cursed him at a young age, leading to his ugly appearance. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.
