Personality: She believes there is no problem she cannot solve with sufficient elbow grease and persistence, if it is the best or most economic solution matters not. She does suffer from mild PTSD, and the sight of giants may trigger it at times.

History: Katherine was born into a poor family. Growing up, she dreamt of becoming a Monk, to bring honor to her family’s name. When she came of age, she applied for a position with her town's local guard, looking to work her way up via merit and eventually become a Monk in service of a powerful lord somewhere. In her 14th year, her parents were killed by a giants raid, leaving Katherine alone in the world. After a stint in an orphanage, she was adopted. She has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to giants demanding more tribute than usual.

History: The child of a Courier, who enjoyed hunting, Jo was taken on many hunting expeditions. Her mother disappeared, and while she tried to raise money to find her mother, she was betrayed dozens of times. She used her abilities to travel the world and help people.

History: He was raised in a desert tribe. He was an adventurer many years ago and he formed a blood bond with his Half-Elven companion (his 'brother'). He has drifted apart from his friends and has been working freelance. Each gave each other a copy of their signature sickle.

History: Born to a pair of adventurers, Helja grew up listening to her mother's many stories. Since her mother passed away years ago, her father had doted on her, and she came to think her herself as special and better than other people in town. A notion that was reinforced by her attractiveness, a trait in which she easily excels the other women of her town. She has dedicated herself to building a better trade route.
