History: Nicholas hails from a village terrorized by gnolls. His spouse left him for another, whom he beat to an almost bloody pulp. He did not win them back, but he came to a realization. To get what you want from life, you must take it. He has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to gnolls demanding more tribute than usual.

Motivation: He wants revenge against gnolls; and find a way to reverse the transformation of his brother

Description: She wears an amalgamation of clothes and depending on the season will wear more layers of the continuing hodge podge. She is physically well-built. Her brown hair is slicked back into a classic pompadour. Her eyes are brown and she is always smoking a pipe.

Personality: Eccentric and domineering, Bardryn will drive conversation. Her respect, as difficult as one would find it to earn, is unwavering; those who more than prove themselves to her, a bar set well above any reasonable standard, she tolerates in varying degrees. Though less modest and more hasty in her reactions to snap at those who irritate her, Bardryn is combative with any and all who dare try her patience in the slightest.

History: She was born in the south, but her parents moved at a very young age to the north. Being born in the south, she completed her medical training abroad so as to avoid the war. She returned after the war having achieved medical proficiency. She was a general practitioner in the south for years, until she, through no fault of her own, lost a patient who had a very powerful family. Rather than risk reprisal she made her way north. She has been saving her money to try and buy her sister's freedom.

Personality: Overbrimming with self-confidence, Delre isn't afraid of most anything. She has a strong dislike to people who do not believe in Dwarven unity. She is however nostalgic and wants to reunite with her old comrades. She has some compunction and patriotism and will work for the government before all other clients.

History: She was born to a wealthy landowner in a frontier town, living a normal and happy childhood. She took every job she could get her hands on, but the opportunities for Dwarves in the west were limited. She inherited the family business which she has now maintained for 12 years.

Motivation: Nothing but the best is good enough for her.
