Personality: Always inclined to offer people food she seems plenty friendly. The war was a terrible time for her, and Valanthe does not often speak of it. When she does, she does so with a strained expression and tears in her eyes.

History: She was born several months after her father was called into army service. Her father was a soldier and died while she was still young. Valanthe was left her father's suit of armor and trained in its use and care. She hopes to save up enough money to one day pay a cleric to cure her.

He claims to be doing their will and will base all his actions on whether or not they would be pleasing to the gods.

History: His mother raised him in a mountain cabin. He inherited a moderately successful company from his father. Under his leadership it has flourished, and using capital from his venture he effectively owns an entire region. He leaves a trail of broken hearts and full pockets wherever he goes.

Motivation: To find somewhere to settle down; and he is compelled to act according to his religious beliefs

History: Shanairla lived on a farm with her father, near the main road leading to a nearby town. A gypsy cursed her at a young age, leading to her ugly appearance. She's also a talented Performer, but doesn't like to broadcast it.

Motivation: Retire the richest woman in the east; and balancing her hectic life and new armorer responsibilities is difficult

History: He was born to a wealthy landowner in a frontier town, living a normal and happy childhood. A freak accident while working with his Healer mother left him crippled. He now mingles about in high society.
