History: Jasmine was born into a poor family. Growing up, she dreamt of becoming a Adept, to bring honor to her family’s name. When she came of age, she applied for a position with her town's local guard, looking to work her way up via merit and eventually become a Adept in service of a powerful lord somewhere. Under his leadership it has flourished, and using capital from his venture he effectively owns an entire region. He was granted psionic powers by his dying sister.
