History: He served in the navy to pay for his family's outstanding loans. His family was being driven out of business by several neighboring competitors. The father sought out extralegal help and others began closing their doors. He saw this and took pride in his father's willingness to do anything to win. He moves from town to town, unable to find a place to settle.

Motivation: He is a bit of a kleptomaniac.

Personality: She is a very happy person and has lots of energy. To put it simply, she's a very lovable idiot. She does suffer from mild PTSD, and the sight of goblins may trigger it at times.

History: From birth she was tutored by a cruel and relentless mentor. As a young child she wandered into the woods despite her father's warnings against it. Afterwards she claimed she had encountered goblins who tried to eat her hand. She has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to goblins demanding more tribute than usual.

Personality: She believes there is no problem she cannot solve with sufficient elbow grease and persistence, if it is the best or most economic solution matters not. She spends most of her days drinking in the Inn, the rowdiest and most dangerous establishment in town. There she gambles, wrestles and listens to stories told by travelers.

History: When she was but 4 years old her parents immigrated from the south. Her mother was a mechanic, and taught her how to fix just about anything. One night she noticed a nearby shooting star which she hiked out to see where it landed. It turned out to be an ancient artifact of some kind. She has done her darndest to repair it but it is currently non-functional.

Motivation: Meet up once more with her childhood friend; and her relatives are trying to arrange a marriage
