She saw the woman who walked out, and charged her in a blind rage. The woman easily evaded and defeated her, leaving her to live broken and terrified. She has since married many spouses, only to have them die. She claims to not be responsible.

Her partner is her best friend in the world. The two are very close despite being more or less each other's opposites. She is able to make almost anything out of random pieces of junk.

History: Born to a pair of adventurers, Claira grew up listening to her father's many stories. Her family was turned out during the war. She and her family wandered west to less war torn lands. She has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to dire rats demanding more tribute than usual.

History: He was born a particularly ugly child, much to the horror of his parents. At a young age both his parents were killed in an accident. His uncle (a powerful person with enemies on both sides of the law) took him in and had him trained in basic self defense. He has been a successful dealer in antiques buying low and selling high.
