History: Havilar hails from a village terrorized by brigands. Her parents were killed by brigands in a raid when she was still a young child. The brigands captured her, and made her a slave and general play-thing. She was beaten and tortured regularly, leading to her deformed appearance. She has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to brigands demanding more tribute than usual.

He tries to control his temper but he can't always stop himself from what he feels what must be done. Despite his manner, he is extremely passionate and proud of his job, and he prides himself in being thorough and never missing a detail.

History: When he was but 5 years old his parents immigrated from the south. Through the years after Jade was born, his mother became increasingly distant from his family, instead choosing to pursue power in the south. Jade's mother didn't care for him much, and the feeling was mutual. He got away from his former life and has fallen to alcoholism.

History: Heir to a fortune, her parents put a great deal of effort into curing her disease. Her mother disappeared, and while she tried to raise money to find her mother, she was betrayed dozens of times. She hasn't been sleeping well lately.

Motivation: Regain custody of her son; and she loathes her own lifestyle

History: He was born blind and as such lacked many opportunities for work. As a young adult he joined a group advocating for an improvement in Halfling conditions. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.
