History: Pyxrin was born to in a poor docking district. She spent her early days working in the same smith shop her mother was employed at, doing general labor. She was an athlete and attended two major summer competitions. She never won. She was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

History: Eida was raised in a hard working conservative environment. Her father was a soldier and died while she was still young. Eida was left her father's suit of armor and trained in its use and care. She was always very intelligent and has formed a secret society of specialists.

Personality: He is always cheerful, even with a hangover, and is always willing to go through all sorts of trouble to help his friends. He considers everything a fun event and doesn't hold grudges. He has zero loyalty and will suck up to whomever is within range, in the hopes of being moved to a better position.

History: Trained by his father for as long as he can remember he had it drilled in his head that it was his duty to serve his country. Shamash liked to wander the woods near his home when he was young, something he still likes to do at least once a week. He never liked modest clothing or shoes, so he would wander the woods barefoot and lightly dressed, and he developed a good sense of balance and learned how to climb and swim well. Since then, he has sought to make the best of life.

History: He was born into a rich family. His mother was supposedly a charlatan fortune teller, but he insists his mother was legitimate. He spent several years traveling with his friend, before both settled down to enjoy the fruits of their adventures.

Motivation: A need for knowledge about a nearby landmark; and he has a rivalry with the church that dominates his actions

Personality: He dislikes all the random violence that takes place in the south. He believes the world needs to unite to get rid of gnolls once and for all.

History: He was born in the south, but his parents moved at a very young age to the east. Because his mother participated in the massacre of their homeland, gnolls burned their ranch to the ground and forced them out. He was preparing to flee to the south, but the outbreak of war prevented him and his father from journeying south to reunite his family. He left for the south, certain he would find work there.

Motivation: He wants revenge against gnolls; and someone believes him a fraud
