History: Sold as a small child to a wizard, Gerald was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. He eventually earned his freedom when his former master disappeared. He made a point of taking high paying jobs and getting most of it up front. He became a plane-shifter, and is stopping over on this plane for a brief visit.

Description: Standing 5'2", this woman tends to wear a heavy leather apron. Coupled with her rolled up shirt sleeves this gives her a very relaxed look. Her hair is cut close to her head. Her eyes are likewise gray.

Personality: She shows great sympathy to all travelers. She's the type to buy drinks and listen to their stories. She is lazy and tries to find solutions quickly.

History: Tomph was born in the west. At a young age she loved to build and create. After coming to the age of reason, Tomph took it upon herself to study the martial arts in their entirety; because of this, she was labeled a dark omen and banished from her homeland. She was granted martial powers by her dying sister.

Motivation: She doesn't get along with people that don't share her tastes; and she feels the way she acts is they only way to get by in the world

Description: An older man who wears a robe, a symbol of his god around his neck, and a hammer on his belt, he is not a threatening figure. He has no fur. Judging by the bloodshot nature of his eyes and the massive bags underneath them one would imagine he has not slept for days.

Personality: He believes there is no problem he cannot solve with sufficient elbow grease and persistence, if it is the best or most economic solution matters not. He invites people to come help in his community garden.

History: Cask was born in the west. At a young age he loved to build and create. His mother was a mechanic, and taught him how to fix just about anything. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

Motivation: His religion dominates his actions; and to get a good night's sleep

Description: She wears a brown shirt with thin black vertical stripes and blue pants, but does not cut a very imposing figure. She walks with a slouch but will stand straight to her full 3'10" when asserting herself. She has golden hair. She wears round tiny glasses practically rammed into her face.

Personality: She seems absolutely devoid of it. She stares off into space and will respond with overly literal and minimalist answers to questions. She works hard and plays hard.

History: She grew up in a lower middle class home, but living comfortably wasn't enough. As a young adult she joined a group advocating for an improvement in Dwarven conditions. She is untrained/undisciplined, which makes her dangerous.

Motivation: Dragonborn compassion.

Description: This woman is bedraggled and starved. She is wearing a long, grey, dusty cloak. Her tied-back hair is golden. She has a tattooed face.

Personality: Aggressive, abrasive, and angry, Cecily embodies much of what other species detest in the Humans. She is however greedy and will demand payment and proof of collateral's value and will produce a merchant's scale to make sure she is not cheated out of a speck.

History: Cecily lived on a farm with her mother, near the main road leading to a nearby town. She couldn't stand her childhood mentor and eventually formed a pact with her mentor's previously failed apprentice to rebel. When their plan failed the mentor lashed out against both of them and fled. She was betrayed by a partner and left for dead, teaching her a humbling lesson in trusting others.

Motivation: She wants revenge against illithids; and marry her sister to traveling adventurers
