Personality: Here is a woman who knows she is the smartest in the room. She talks down to others constantly. She has zero loyalty and will suck up to whomever is within range, in the hopes of being moved to a better position.

History: She was born in a small desert village. While studying, she fell in love. They married and had a son. Some 9 years later her spouse died after the birth of her son. Heartbroken, Emerald never married again. Instead she focused her life to raising her son whom she trained as her mother had trained her before.

History: Heir to a fortune, her parents put a great deal of effort into curing her disease. A freak accident while working with her Barrister father left her crippled. During her travels, Nala and her party rested in a cavern that was (unknown to them) infused with powerful dark magic. Upon awakening, Nala discovered the rest of her party dead, transformed into horrible, mindless undead versions of their former selves. Nala fled the cavern, stopping for breath at a small pool, and only then realizing her own horrible transformation.
