History: He served in the navy to pay for his family's outstanding loans. He took every job he could get his hands on, but the opportunities for Dragonborns in the west were limited. He has built up a small fortune and can afford his own way.

History: She comes from a rich eastern family. While studying, she fell in love. They married and had a son. She hasn't been sleeping well lately.

She was a general practitioner in the north for years, until she, through no fault of her own, lost a patient who had a very powerful family. Rather than risk reprisal she made her way east. She has been a successful dealer in antiques buying low and selling high.
