His uncle (a powerful person with enemies on both sides of the law) took him in and had him trained in basic self defense. He found several beat up suits of armor and, cannibalizing spare parts, he put together a working one.

Description: A 5'5" northern man, he wears long strands of opal and short brown dresses (or suits) accompanied by the proper stockings and shoes, with gloves of varying lengths. His gray fur is lengthy and is close to two feet long. His eyes, though not visible through his cowl, are hazel.

Personality: His tongue was cut out and he uses sign language. He has zero loyalty and will suck up to whomever is within range, in the hopes of being moved to a better position.

History: From birth he was tutored by a cruel and relentless mentor. He sought a place where he would be rewarded solely on the merits of his skills. This search led him directly into Merchant work with an outfit from a few towns over. Merchant work suited him well, and with each successful project, he earned more gold and more respect from his peers. He has gone from town to town till he finds a spot where he can set up a sustainable business.

Personality: Bryseis is depressed about a lot of things. She tends to be a nihilist. She uses her nature as a weapon; she likes to lead opponents to think her in distress.

History: Sold as a small child to a wizard, Bryseis was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. She eventually earned her freedom when her former master disappeared. A few years later when the west was not economically sound they moved to her current location. She was always very intelligent and has formed a secret society of philosophers.

Personality: She is extraordinarily passive and rarely speaks, let alone speaks her mind. She has a small toy that she constantly fidgets with.

History: Gifted from a young age, Dara studied abroad. A gypsy cursed her at a young age, leading to her ugly appearance. She knows her nephew is from a royal line that had remained secret for centuries, but promised not to tell anyone. So far, no-one knows but her.

History: She comes from a rich western family. She was married off to the eldest child of a minor noble. Her spouse died of illness and she inherited everything. She used her abilities to travel the world and help people.

Motivation: She uses money and sex appeal to get what she needs; and wants to work out more often
