Andraste fought at the side of some of the regions greatest heroes but was never overshadowed.

Aline decided she wanted neither the life of her mother nor that of the evil petty criminals she associated with. During her early adolescence, she took a sudden opportunity while working the docks and commandeered a vessel that was left unmanned. Recently she has begun working with bootleggers and crooks.

She found a children's book about a Human Fighter who fought for good and justice and never realised it was just a child's story. She modeled her life after the story, seeing herself destined a hero. She has gone from town to town till she finds a spot where she can set up a sustainable business.
