Personality: Friendly and accommodating he would invite many more into his home than his spouse would be comfortable with if they did not express concern about it. Flattery will make him almost putty in your hands.

History: Born to a Banker, his father struggled to pay the bills. While he appears to be a normal Dwarf, he's... not quite right. Perhaps he's slightly insane, or otherwise so mentally alien to the rest of the world that he plain doesn't fit in. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

Description: A pudgy woman standing about 4'1" has a big stupid grin on her face most of the time. She is constantly adorned with expensive silk clothing, often dyed in bright grey and blue, and wears rings and necklaces with large, colorful gems. She sports brown long hair. Her fierce amber eyes like to dwell on things.

Personality: She has schizophrenia that causes her to hear things that aren't there and will sometimes respond to them. She has a minor phobia of water and hates getting wet.

History: Her psionic talent manifested at a young age. Aiming to upstage a rival house, her parents had her trained. Ostracized due to the psionic powers of her oldest sister, she and her siblings struck out on their own. In the process these unassuming Dwarves became a terror of the countryside. She became a Jeweler soon after.

Description: An older woman who is typically in her Painter uniform, she is not a threatening figure. Her hair is cut close to her head. Her brown eyes show the wear and tear of someone lonely with a great burden to carry.

Personality: She cares much about the opinion of others, both in good and in bad: when keeping in line with her opinion, she thinks highly of the other person, but when opinions clash, she can get violently argumentative. She disdains her fellow northerners, claiming they make her look unintelligent just for using an accent.

History: Her father raised her in a mountain cabin. In her 11th year, her parents were killed by a gnolls raid, leaving Sumnes alone in the world. After a stint in an orphanage, she was adopted. She has drifted from career to career and currently works as a Painter.

Personality: He can speak with the recently deceased. His actions favor neither the good nor the evil, as he answers to a power that mortal men fail to acknowledge.

History: Dayereth hails from a village terrorized by illithids. He was a friend to animals and a trickster. In his defense of animals however he would do severe harm to people. Days after completing his studies, news broke out that his hometown was attacked by illithids. Dayereth was horrified and prayed that his father was alright. However, he heard that his father had died fighting off the illithids.

Motivation: He is compelled to act according to his religious beliefs; and he has a rivalry with the church that dominates his actions

Personality: He has always had a great fascination with Human culture. A true patriot, Snafû would do anything for his country. He is fiercely protective of his fellow citizens and foreign allies.

History: He served in the navy to pay for his family's outstanding loans. Before the accident, he was one of the most outspoken anti-Human activists. He was mortally wounded, saved by a kind and fast-acting Human doctor. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

Motivation: He wants nothing more than to rejoin the army; and human compassion
