History: She was born to loving parents in a slum to the east. Her mother was supposedly a charlatan fortune teller, but she insists her mother was legitimate. She has dedicated herself to building a better trade route.

History: When she was but 6 years old her parents immigrated from the south. In her 11th year, her parents were killed by a dire rats raid, leaving Malquis alone in the world. After a stint in an orphanage, she was adopted. She ran away from her former home and has been making her living as a Dilettante for the past few years.
