After a stint in an orphanage, he was adopted. He has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to illithids demanding more tribute than usual.

History: Born to a poor family in the city he treasured whatever gifts he got. He was taken as a slave by a traveling circus and forced to perform He was granted divine powers by his dying sister.

Motivation: He is compelled to act according to his religious beliefs; and he has a rivalry with the church that dominates his actions
