When she does, she does so with a strained expression and tears in her eyes.

History: She was born a particularly ugly child, much to the horror of her parents. Through the years after Mumpena was born, her father became increasingly distant from her family, instead choosing to pursue power in the north. Mumpena's father didn't care for her much, and the feeling was mutual. She was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

History: Her parents moved while she was still in utero so she is the first generation to be born here. Since her mother passed away years ago, her father had doted on her, and she came to think her herself as special and better than other people in town. A notion that was reinforced by her attractiveness, a trait in which she easily excels the other women of her town. When her spouse passed she lost her only source of income but claims to her sons to still be retired.
