History: He was born a particularly ugly child, much to the horror of his parents. After coming to the age of reason, Beiro took it upon himself to study the arcane arts in their entirety; because of this, he was labeled a dark omen and banished from his homeland. He was granted arcane powers by his dying sister.

She tries to control her temper but she can't always stop herself from what she feels what must be done. Around other people she will do her best to conceal her emotions and appear jolly.

History: Trained by her father for as long as she can remember she had it drilled in her head that it was her duty to serve her country. Her father was a soldier and died while she was still young. Merla was left her father's suit of armor and trained in its use and care. She has gone from town to town working and never settling down anywhere, but has fallen for a local Scribe.
