She found a children's book about a Half-Orc Barbarian who fought for good and justice and never realised it was just a child's story. She modeled her life after the story, seeing herself destined a hero. She inherited the family business which she has now maintained for 14 years.

In his 17th year, while out on a day-trip, he returned to find his hometown burning and destroyed. He found his mother impaled in their home, and his father beheaded. He saw the man who walked out, and charged him in a blind rage. The man easily evaded and defeated him, leaving him to live broken and terrified. Lacking all sense, he decided to go on an adventure. He picked a direction and started trekking.

Motivation: Obtaining odd cultural Tiefling artifacts is his passion.

Personality: She likes to brag about her accomplishments and constantly tries to beat others to the punch. She is kind towards other women and children and will generally offer women help without question. Others will generally need to prove themselves to her.

History: A powerful slaver made her what she is. While she appears to be a normal Gnome, she's... not quite right. Perhaps she's slightly insane, or otherwise so mentally alien to the rest of the world that she plain doesn't fit in. She's since become an addict/alcoholic.
