History: The child of southern immigrants he idolized his father. Leaf was a troubled youth. History: His arcane talent manifested at a young age. Aiming to upstage a rival house, his parents had him trained. A freak accident while working with his Miner mother left him crippled. He was betrayed by a partner and left for dead, teaching him a humbling lesson in trusting others.

History: Kellen was born to in a poor docking district. He spent his early days working in the same smith shop his father was employed at, doing general labor.
