History: Born in the north to a Navigator, Huru learned a great deal about her father's area of expertise. Being born in the north, she completed her medical training abroad so as to avoid the war. She returned after the war having achieved medical proficiency. She was a general practitioner in the north for years, until she, through no fault of her own, lost a patient who had a very powerful family. Rather than risk reprisal she made her way south. When her spouse passed she lost her only source of income but claims to her daughters to still be retired.

His chestnut hair is thinning but still full. His face is feral with sharp distinguishing features. His spectacle hidden eyes are a deep violet.

Personality: He hates dire rats. He views them as having robbed his home of its proper glory. He is a logical person and will generally grow upset if things defy logic and science.

History: Trained by his mother for as long as he can remember he had it drilled in his head that it was his duty to serve his country. His parents died when he was young, and he was unceremoniously dumped in the city orphanage. Erdan grew up in the orphanage, tormented by the older kids and famished from lack of food. To avoid death by starvation, most orphans take to a life of crime or prostitution (often both), and so did Erdan. Being a Merchant kept his interest for a while, but then he became depressed and bored. So he turned to a secret life of crime, taking increasingly more risks and challenges.

History: From birth she was tutored by a cruel and relentless mentor. She has had some formal poetry training, and achieved minor success. She has never given up on her poetry dream.

Motivation: Doesn't want to be a Stableman and was forced into it by her family; and marry her brother to traveling adventurers

History: Ur-Lasu was raised in a hard working conservative environment. He sought a place where he would be rewarded solely on the merits of his skills. This search led him directly into Banker work with an outfit from a few towns over. Banker work suited him well, and with each successful project, he earned more gold and more respect from his peers. He has drifted from career to career and currently works as a Banker.

History: She was a bastard born out of an affair, and her mother always resented and mistreated her for it out of spite. She was married off to the eldest child of a minor noble. Her spouse died of illness and she inherited everything. She knows her nephew is from a royal line that had remained secret for centuries, but promised not to tell anyone. So far, no-one knows but her.

Motivation: Further expansion of business; and she has money and likes to spend it
