History: Valanthe was born to in a poor docking district. She spent her early days working in the same smith shop her father was employed at, doing general labor. She always admired necromantic-users and wanted to develop the talent, but never had the affinity for it. She's since become an addict/alcoholic.

History: A studious child she never was much for a social life, not because she was unlikable, but because she did not seek it out. After coming to the age of reason, Hugolina took it upon herself to study the necromantic arts in their entirety; because of this, she was labeled a dark omen and banished from her homeland. Some 5 years later her spouse died after the birth of her daughter. Heartbroken, Hugolina never married again.
