Personality: Soft-spoken and well mannered, he has an amazing amount of patience and a slow boiling temper. His brief stint in the army gave him the idea he was invincible and that he is the toughest man alive.

History: Born to a pair of adventurers, Chad grew up listening to his mother's many stories. His mother had invested heavily in several trade routes and wanted him to inherit them. Lacking all sense, he decided to go on an adventure. He picked a direction and started trekking.

Personality: He has schizophrenia that causes him to hear things that aren't there and will sometimes respond to them. He is a bit of a xeno-phobe, disliking non-Halflings.

History: Born in the south to a Sculptor, Bhevek learned a great deal about his father's area of expertise. Before the accident, he was one of the most outspoken anti-Gnomish activists. He was mortally wounded, saved by a kind and fast-acting Gnomish doctor. He spent several years traveling with his friend, before both settled down to enjoy the fruits of their adventures.

Motivation: A need for knowledge about a nearby landmark; and to be a miner again

Personality: She is extraordinarily passive and rarely speaks, let alone speaks her mind. She disdains her fellow southerners, claiming they make her look unintelligent just for using an accent.

History: She was born at the edge of vast plains. From there she went from mercenary job to mercenary job. She was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

Motivation: She desires power and/or immortality.

Description: He dresses like a well dressed Courier does, but does not cut a very imposing figure. He walks with a slouch but will stand straight to his full 4'10" when asserting himself. He has no hair. His voice is smooth and creepy, always level, but somehow just slightly unnerving.

Personality: He loves justice and goodness and right action. Anyone who does not fulfill this criteria perfectly will no doubt get a lecture from him. He is the most sanctimonious self-righteous Elf in existence. When he's not drinking or sleeping the drinks off, he's doing writing.

History: Born in the east to a Courier, Efferil learned a great deal about his mother's area of expertise. He was an apprentice working in his mother's forge. He tends to his Courier job now, and dutifully fulfills any obligations he has.

Description: This woman is armored in gleaming platemail with gilded edges. A flowing white cape and mantle trimmed with soft grey waves gently in the breeze. She has a penchant for wearing a ring with an oversized aquamarine on her left hand. Her chestnut hair is cut jaggedly and amateurishly. Her face is covered beneath a completely black helmet.

Personality: Overbrimming with self-confidence, Shaena isn't afraid of most anything. She has a strong dislike to people who do not believe in Halfling unity. She is terrible with names forgetting people's names several times before they finally stick; this causes her no end of embarrassment.

History: Raised by wardens she was only a novice when brigands swooped upon their monastery and killed most of the order. In her 12th year, her parents were killed by a brigands raid, leaving Shaena alone in the world. After a stint in an orphanage, she was adopted. Days after completing her studies, news broke out that her hometown was attacked by brigands. Shaena was horrified and prayed that her father was alright. However, she heard that her father had died fighting off the brigands.

Motivation: She feels the way she acts is they only way to get by in the world; and her name or reputation has been wronged in the past by brigands, and she desires to right it
