History: He grew up in a lower middle class home, but living comfortably wasn't enough. There was a wharf not far from home where he often wandered off to fish. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

Description: An imposing man with a heavy stainless steel prosthetic left leg, he wears a blue vest and prefers black and pastel shirts. His boots appear to have been at one point steel toed but are quite worn down. His chestnut hair is singed and shortened. Judging by the bloodshot nature of his eyes and the massive bags underneath them one would imagine he has not slept for days.

Personality: He is enamored with his job. He loves it. He likes the challenge and he likes helping those less fortunate than him. He lacks moral complications. He does what he is told to by employers but not much else. He spends his money on whatever he fancies at the time.

History: Born to a pair of adventurers, Aelar grew up listening to his father's many stories. He found a children's book about a Elf Commoner who fought for good and justice and never realised it was just a child's story. He modeled his life after the story, seeing himself destined a hero. He has set out to sabotage the competition.

Motivation: He desires power and/or immortality; and to reunite with his old friends

Description: This younger middle-aged woman sports yellow clothing, slightly heavier than average wear, and a wedding ring on her right hand. She is bald on top and has large brown tufts of hair around her ears. Her violet eyes dart from person to person.

Personality: She has a very dry and sarcastic sense of humor. She is not one for noise or eating so much, which is in direct contrast with her big mouthed big gutted partner. Her partner is her best friend in the world. The two are very close despite being more or less each other's opposites. Around other people she will do her best to conceal her emotions and appear jolly.

History: She was born several months after her father was called into army service. She graduated from the Naval Academy and went to see the world at the rank of Ensign. She advanced relatively quickly due to her good work ethic, understanding of the chain of command, and natural leadership ability. When she grew older, she became a bit more civilized, usually hanging around bars and taverns. She began work as a mercenary for hire. She would embark on any mission as long as the price was right.

Motivation: To reunite with her old friends; and wishes to resurrect an old love

Personality: He believes mankind has become decadent and spoiled by the march of civilization and an end should come to life as we know it. He cannot resist a sob story and will often dote over anyone who has one.

History: Watson hails from a village terrorized by dire rats. He was taken as a slave by a traveling circus and forced to perform He used his abilities to travel the world and help people.

Motivation: His name or reputation has been wronged in the past by dire rats, and he desires to right it.

Description: This late middle aged man dresses in grey turtlenecks beneath a green coat with black slacks and is in decent physical shape. His hair is silver and curly. His skin is flawless and his violet eyes scan people very quickly.

Personality: He takes his job very seriously, in part because he fears he cannot get a new one. He always tries to repair and not replace. It was this mentality that drove him into the Map Maker business.

History: Born in a small village he learned the ways of the warrior from his father. His homeland was ravaged by war and he spent much of his life rebuilding it. He has taken up work as a Map Maker and fed both sides of the war false information with the goal of increasing casualties.

Motivation: To be a Spice Merchant again; and expand his business
