History: Her parents moved while she was still in utero so she is the first generation to be born here. Her parents died when she was young, and she was unceremoniously dumped in the city orphanage. Mardnab grew up in the orphanage, tormented by the older kids and famished from lack of food. To avoid death by starvation, most orphans take to a life of crime or prostitution (often both), and so did Mardnab. She would ruin relationships and cause injury. Elysande decided to take the middle way and become a bodyguard. Days after completing her studies, news broke out that her hometown was attacked by gnolls. Elysande was horrified and prayed that her father was alright. However, she heard that her father had died fighting off the gnolls.
